Healthy stuff for a Sesame Street party theme

Check out these great and creative ideas! I found them poking around on Pinterest and you can click the pictures to go to the original posts about that particular party.

This first one is a total fruit fest! Given the bright colors of the Sesame Street characters, it's so easy to come up with ideas for this. In this case, she's got kiwi for Oscar, pineapple for Bert, strawberries for Elmo and oranges for Ernie. Nice change from all the cake and ice cream.

Sadly, this picture was posted by a spammer, so I have no idea where it came from originally but it apparently came from this site. Sigh. We have a mix of fruits and veggies here. Cookie is done with blueberries and blackberries, elmo with tomatoes, olives and carrots and Oscar in olives and broccoli. I love this because the googly eyes are easily done with ranch dressing or sweet cream for dipping.

Another example of a tomato Elmo. But she also listed a way to do him in fruit - strawberries, mandarin oranges, black grapes and banana slices.

Any clever ideas for how to do some of the odder colored characters? Maybe pink grapefruit for Abby. Love the idea of peaches for Zoe. Maybe Rosita would have to be Jello squares!
