
You'll notice she created all the signs and invitations custom, none of which use any Sesame Street images. Instead, she took things with bright colors and simple designs and made them work by using character names. As well as the party being brought to you by the Letter A and the Number 3. (Taken from her child's name and age.)
She brought in Sesame Street elements with the cute beanie sized Sesame Street plush characters. Some for the food, some for the games.
And the games! She came up with these just by brainstorming with a friend, tying elements related to a character with activities suitable for toddlers. My favorite was the Oscar Trash Toss shown in the picture here. How's that for cute!
I share a lot on this blot of specifically Sesame Street birthday items you can get, but this is a great example that a little creativity can go a lot farther!
