Oh, yeah. There is little more quintessentially Sesame Street than the alphabet. We've talked before about having an alphabet-themed Sesame Street party with some of the great alphabet decorations available. But it wouldn't be complete without alphabet music, right? And so make sure you score the album Sing the Alphabet. It's got everything from the classic "'C' Is for Cookie" or "MMM Monster Meal" making for just the right kind of frivolous fun needed for a birthday party.
Along with the lyrical letter tunes, there's a "What's My Letter?" skit with Prairie Dawn and Guy Smiley and the story, "The Tale of Tom Tattertall Tuttletut," featuring Herbert Birdsfoot and the Anything People. This CD is a straight reissue of "The Muppet Alphabet Album," originally released by Columbia Records in 1971.
